David Kazunao Meyer is Senior Executive Director of the International Council on Environmental Economics and Development (ICEED), a UN-accredited think tank. He contributes to AI governance, economic security, climate policy, and multilateral cooperation. He is a member of the OECD AI Expert Community, Senior Fellow of NATO DCF, Co-Director for UK–EU Energy Security at Chatham House, Permanent Observer to UNECE WP.29 GRVA – AI Regulatory Policy, Advisory Member of the Yale Forum, Yale School of the Environment, and Senior Fellow at the International House of Japan. His research focuses on AI-enabled strategic early warning, societal resilience, and the early detection of deterioration in intermediate institutions.
