Prof. Dr. Gabriele Abbondanza is an international relations and security academic. He is Senior Lecturer at Comillas Pontifical University (Spain), Associate Fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali – IAI (Italy), and a former Lecturer at the University of Sydney (Australia). He has published numerous books and scientific articles with leading global journals and publishers, and teaches numerous university courses. He frequently contributes to high-level media and institutional debates, including those promoted by the Council of the EU, the NATO Foundation, the Italian Parliament, the Spanish Ministry of Defence’s IUGM Institute, ECFR, IAI, and the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre.
