Dr Giulia Tercovich is Assistant Director of the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) and Assistant Professor in International Affairs at the Brussels School of Governance. She holds a double doctoral degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick and Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste. She has worked with the United Nations Liaison Office for Peace and Security, the European External Action Service and the Italian Permanent Representation to the EU. Her research focuses on EU foreign policy, crisis management, civil protection, EU–ASEAN relations, and EU cooperation with the UN and NATO. She teaches on strategic foresight, non-traditional security threats and global risk analysis, and currently leads the EU Policy and Outreach Partnership project in the Republic of Korea.
