Nicolò Russo Perez is Director of the CSF Foundation and has served as Head of International Relations at Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo in Turin for over two decades. In this role, he has designed and overseen grant-making and operational activities focused on transatlantic and European affairs, as well as Mediterranean and emerging-country issues, including strategic partnerships with the German Marshall Fund and the Istituto Affari Internazionali. He is a member of IAI’s Board and the European Council on Foreign Relations, and serves on the Scientific Board of the NATO Defense College Foundation. He has also worked at the European Commission and the International Labour Organization and was a Senior Associate Fellow at the EU Institute for Security Studies. He holds a degree in Modern and Contemporary History from Ca’ Foscari University and studied international relations in Germany and the United States.
